Thailand’s premier boating and lifestyle event, the Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX), celebrates its 13th anniversary in January 2016 taking place at the 100 wet berth and 50 dry berth yacht basin at Phuket’s five-star Royal Phuket Marina with participants from Australia, Europe, USA, East Asia and China, and of course S.E. Asia.
As many as 120 exhibiting companies representing over 250 brands worldwide will make the 2016 show the biggest ever!
The show will have up to 60 yachts in the water from 10m to 35m, power and sail, and smaller trailer yachts for the entry level visitors. In 2016 there will be a number of luxury SuperYachts mooring off (outside) the Royal Phuket Marina, with Shuttles whisking clients from the Royal Villa to visit these magnificent vessels every 15 minutes throughout the day. MARINE & LIFESTYLE SHOW Since 2003 the show has grown into the most successful marine and lifestyle show in South East Asia, with more exhibitors, more boats on display, and more sales than any other. The show takes place at the award winning Royal Phuket Marina with purpose built exhibition space overlooking the in water display in a magical setting offering fine dining and spectacular views of the yachts.
Alongside the marine exhibits will be a wide choice of luxury property, reasonably priced condominium projects and investment opportunities together with other iconic branded goods. ESTABLISHED The Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX) is an established and successful event in the marine and leisure calendar. In 2015 the show was well attended by luxury brands and individuals keen to buy. Over 4,000 individuals from 57 countries attended the 2015 show and USD$25 million of product was sold with many more leads followed up after the show. The Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX) is a relaxed event where participants celebrate the boating, leisure and luxury lifestyle in an ideal tropical destination. The show is more than boats on display but also an opportunity to see the latest luxury cars, properties and engage in some Phuket hospitality. Organised by the Andaman Marine Consultants, the Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX) has the support of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, and the backing of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports along with both the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Sports Authority of Thailand, which offer practical support by promoting the event through their many national and international offices. Senior figures in the Thai government are increasingly focused on the huge potential of the marine leisure industry in Thailand and particularly Phuket.
