Kay Tek 42
Here is a boat that is sure to turn some heads when you cruise into the anchorage or marina in style. Built in 2000 by one of Turkeyâs best known yards, the Kay Tek 42 is a boat that oozes charm.
Itâs powered by reliable Man 610hp diesels with jet drives that are housed in ample engine room space with great access for servicing. The overall design is a popular proven European style and one that is also practical here in the tropics.
The large safe cockpit in the centre of the boat has seating for 8-10 and is fully shaded by the new bimini. Aft of the cockpit are the twin sun beds if you want to catch some rays and the saloon and cabins below are of a colonial style and are fully air-conditioned.
She has a well equipped galley to port midships, a small writing desk to starboard, and the spacious head and shower sits to starboard just forward of the helm. The forward V berth is a stylish design which is open to the rest of the saloon and includes a small sofa. There is also a second cabin port aft but best used for crew. Primarily she is an impressive boat ideal for a couple or small family.
