An interview with our Owner of the Month − Henry Cumberlege (20 Jul 2011)
Henry Cumberlege, 37, worked in marketing and communication for several multinational firms before moving to Phuket. He now runs Media Sphere, a company that specialises in digital marketing, at RPM downstairs from his new home. No rush hours to avoid, no long distances to drive, no time wasted.
Q: How did you hear about RPM?
A: My father. He has always been passionate about sailing so he was eager to show me the Marina during one of my visits.
Q: When did you move to RPM?
A: In March 2009. I bought my apartment a little late to benefit from the real estate boom and moved in as soon as it was completed. I made a lot of friends at the time with workers hammering away to finish the construction...
Q: Why did you move to RPM?
A: The owner’s vision of the project, the great facilities and environment of the Marina, and the idea of living in a stylish and modern customised apartment, quite the opposite of my home in Paris really.
Q: What property do you have?
A: I live in a three bedroom apartment with a patio deck.
Q: In one sentence, how would you describe your life at RPM?
A: I can do better than that. How about one word: Bliss.
