‘LUXURY RESIDENCES’ OF WORLD’S FIRST AQUAMINIUM CONDOS AND ROYAL VILLAS GO ON
THE MARKET

Royal Phuket Marina's keenly-awaited second phase of development is coming up for sale, beginning with 15 unique ‘Aquaminium’ condominiums, complete with private, drive-in-boat-berths – as well as eight palatial ‘Royal Villas’, with up to five bedrooms, private swimming pools and doorstep moorings.

A television advert promoting the new development is currently airing on BBC World and is the pinnacle of an extensive print advertising campaign.

The new properties are being officially launched on the market in Hong Kong from May 18 – 20 at the Four Seasons Hotel’s Peak Suite.

AQUAMINIUM CONDOS ARE FIRST IN THE WORLD

Royal Phuket Marina’s ‘Aquaminium’ is a pioneering concept -- the world’s first condominium complex to feature private boat-berths in floating ‘garages’ beneath the residence.

The complex comprises three condo buildings facing onto the marina, surrounding a spacious swimming pool and deck.

The 15 condominiums on offer range from triplex and duplex penthouses, to 2 and 3 bedroom condominiums -- representing one of the world’s most unique investment opportunities.

Two Triplex Penthouses of 772 sqm feature their own 12m private boat garages, complete with a ‘Boat Lounge’ and Jacuzzi/plunge pool. Access is by a private elevator. A sleek bar, pool table and large flat-screen TV adds a cutting-edge to their appeal.

An infinity pool is set within an expansive private rooftop deck with extended, sunken sofa seating, cascading waterfall and garden -- an exclusive venue for entertaining guests over picnics, cocktails or dinner.

One chic Duplex Penthouse of 528 sqm features four ensuite bedrooms and winding stairs leading to a private rooftop pool and garden with sunken dining deck. Access is also by private elevator.

Two Waterfront Duplex units of 364 sqm feature four ensuite bedrooms, private patio with ‘infinity’ outdoor Jacuzzi and panoramic marina views.

There are two and three Bedroom condominiums ranging from 182sqm – 236sqm each with their own unique features.

EIGHT ROYAL VILLAS ARE THE MARINAS MOST PRESTIGIOUS HOMES

The eight ‘Royal Villas’ are the most prestigious homes at Thailand’s first world-class “luxury lifestyle marina community”.

The Royal Villas are the only residences in Phuket to feature private yacht berths. Situated at the foot of each waterfront estate, the berths accommodate vessels of up to 25 meters and benefit from Royal Phuket Marina’s full range of professional concierge and maintenance services.

These grand residences are designed in classic Thai style, blending seamlessly with the resort-inspired surroundings of the marina. The master bedroom suite floats on an outdoor pond while the sumptuous spa bedroom suite enjoys it’s own Jacuzzi, outdoor terrace and steam room. On the expansive outdoor terraces overlooking the boat berths are swimming pools with built-in Jacuzzis and traditional Thai-style salas.

Phase Two sales are underway as 66 condos and penthouses in Phase One have already been snapped-up.

“We were delighted with the response to condo sales in Phase One,” said Norbert Zuber, Royal Phuket Marina’s Sales Director.

“We anticipate an equally strong level of interest in the Aquaminiums and Royal Villas. The private berths and stunning design are unique.”

David Simister, Chairman of CB Richard Ellis Thailand and sales agent for the Hong Kong launch, said: “The fact that Royal Phuket Marina investors have already enjoyed 50-100 per cent capital appreciation, coupled with a lifestyle to rival any worldwide resort, is promoting continued interest.

“Over the last three months our enquiry levels for resort homes has never been stronger and while buyers are carefully weighing-up political considerations, we are still closing sales.

“Purchasing now is a smart move, taking advantage of a temporary lull in the market to buy prime units at launch prices.”

PHUKET DECLARED ‘ASIA’S MARITIME CAPITAL’ AS ROYAL PHUKET MARINA RAISES THE PROFILE OF THAILAND'S YACHTING SCENE

Phuket has been declared ‘Asia’s Maritime Capital’ with the world class Royal Phuket Marina the new hub of Thailand’s international yachting scene. Thailand’s ‘paradise island’ earned the accolade at the annual Christofle Asia Boating Awards held in Bangkok on April, 27.

Phuket was singled out for the prestigious award for placing Asia “firmly on the map” of international yachting, said Olivier Burlot, CEO of Adkom Media Group, organiser of the awards.

The award from the publishers of Asia-Pacific Boating and China Boating magazines was recognition for “first-class boating facilities that include modern marinas, state-of-the-art boatyards and prime chartering”.

Mr. Gulu Lalvani, who opened Royal Phuket Marina last year on the island’s eastern seaboard, said: “The recognition underlines my conviction that Phuket will be the world’s number one sailing destination.”

“This was my vision for creating a world-class marina rivaling those in The Mediterranean and Caribbean.”

ROYAL PHUKET MARINA TO HOST PIMEX INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

Thailand’s annual Phuket International Boat Show is relocating to Royal Phuket Marina.

PIMEX 2007 will showcase the latest boats and equipment in 2,000 square metres of air-conditioned exhibition space at the “luxury lifestyle marina” on December 8-9. Up to 50 boats are expected in the water and on land.

Now in its fifth year, the expo coincides with the annual Phuket King’s Cup international yachting regatta.

Andy Dowden, Show Director for Andaman Marine Consultants, said the move would take the show to “a higher level as Thailand's premier boating and lifestyle event”.

Gulu Lalvani, developer of the spectacular new yachting haven, said, “I am delighted to welcome PIMEX as part of my dream to cement Phuket as destination of first choice for the marine leisure industry in Asia.”
Phuket King’s Cup Regatta Voted Asia’s ‘Yachting Event of the Year’

Royal Phuket Marina one of the King’s Cup Regatta Sponsors

Phuket’s annual King's Cup sailing regatta has been voted ‘Yachting Event of the Year’ for the second year in a row, at the annual Christofle Asia Boating Awards.

Asia's premier yachting regatta annually attracts around 100 racing yachts and crews from around the world and this year celebrates its 21st anniversary in the Andaman Sea.

The five days of racing in early December is famed for a spectacular finale celebration at Royal Phuket Marina – host to Asia’s liveliest extravaganza for around a thousand yachtsmen and guests.

“Our 'Town Square' at the marina is renowned for spectacular social events and is a fitting centre-piece for the region's premier regatta,” said Royal Phuket Marina’s developer Gulu Lalvani.
